In kind donations are much appreciated.
We are always looking for new or gently used household items to provide for those we support who often live on low, fixed incomes. Household appliances, such as computers, dishwashers, washing machines, or microwaves can greatly improve the quality of life for the people we support. Household consumables and hygiene products, such as paper towels, soap, and shampoo are also helpful. Contact us with any questions, or to make arrangements for items you would like to donate.
While we greatly appreciate donations, we are unable to accept any item that needs repair, is more than seven years old or is out of date. We strive to support our clients in the most helpful, respectful way possible and want to ensure that they receive items that are in good working order and will not cause more inconvenience or expense, such as needing to call a repairman or schedule the removal of a broken appliance.
Some commonly needed items include:
- Toiletries: shampoo, soap, toothpaste, deodorant
- Personal hygiene products: wipes, sanitary napkins
- Paper goods: toilet paper, paper towels
- Cleaning supplies: disinfectant wipes, sponges, laundry detergent, dish soap, Swiffer (or like) products
- Clothing
We can always use larger items (in good condition):
- Vacuum cleaners
- Furniture
- Appliances
- Computers
- Vehicles
