Chad oversees the overall fiscal and operational activities for the organization, ensures the execution of quality program services, and monitors both contract and regulatory compliance. In addition, he develops and maintains a deep understanding of the day-to-day operations of PSRS’ programs and industry-wide issues, as well as reports to the PSRS Board of Directors. After graduating from the Evergreen State College with bachelor’s degree focusing on psychology and literature Chad joined PSRS in 1994 as a direct support staff and has held several positions within the organization since that time.
Chad loves the challenge of his position, as it routinely presents new and complex problems. He enjoys working with clients, staff, families, and extended service team members to see positive outcomes and progress for PSRS clients. Chad volunteers his time for the state wide supported living association – Community Residential Services Association (CRSA), and in that capacity has held the positions of chair, vice-chair, co-chair of the legislative committee, chair of the education committee, served on many ad-hoc committees and workgroups, and as a member of the executive committee routinely meets with representatives of DSHS to problem solve industry issues.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, golfing, working on home remodel projects and building computers.
