Do you know what the following all have in common?

  • Established headquarters, and contributor to the Renton  community since 1985
  • Employer of nearly 230 people
  • Over 400,000 hours of services provided per year
  • Over 35,000 miles per month of transportation provided

The answer is Puget Sound Regional Services (PSRS). It all started in 1983 with a desire to support two Deaf-Blind individuals with developmental disabilities to live fulfilled lives outside of institution walls, coupled with a passionate belief that people with disabilities should be connected to, and participate fully in their communities. And not just living in their own homes, but engaged in activities that generate satisfaction and contribute positively to society. Incorporated as a 501c3 non-profit in June 1985, PSRS today brings over 30 years of community support experience to nearly 65 individuals living in their own homes throughout King County from Queen Anne to Covington.

And it was just a few months ago that Renton City Mayor Denis Law issued a Proclamation declaring June 1st to be PSRS Appreciation Day. PSRS is proud to be recognized, and is invested in promoting and supporting diversity, education, and inclusion for all in the Renton community and beyond.

We’d love to see you.  Stop by the office, say hi, and join us for some treats. You can also support PSRS by considering a donation here.
